Local Thyme Restaurant And Bar

We stopped here on our way through Ohio hone to Pittsburgh. What should have been an hour sit down dinner turned to over two hours. We got drinks in a timely manner, and then ordered an appetizer and 2 burgers. We got our appetizer and then sat forabout 30-35 minutes with no food. Other tables around us had ordered after us and got their food already. The waitress finallycame over and stated that there was an issue with their computer and the kitchen never got our food ticket until right beforeshe came out. They are working on making it as fast as possible. I was confused how the kitchen got out appetizer and not ourfood order with it all being ordered at the same time. Burgers were good once they came out. But service left little to bedesired.

We really loved the place. It has a nice atmosphere and the servers were all friendly and fast. I ordered the HUGE pretzel for dinner. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo. He cleaned his plate????so it must have been good. My pretzel was delicious andobviously very much meant for sharing. It came with 4 dips : Ground mustard =good Cinnamon butter=good Cream cheese= ok? I'dhave like to see it flavored like chive or garlic or??? Kinda bland by itself as a dip. Beer cheese=Not good at all. Normallybeer cheese is my favorite. This was grainy flavorless. Probably the worst I've ever had. That is the only reason for 4 stars.

Used to be delicious now it's disappointing! My family and I have been coming here for years and recently they have changed their menu. Service is and has always been good, so the low rating is due to the changes in food. I used to love their sweet heat chicken chunks they were breaded perfectly and the sauce was the perfect consistency and spice level. Today, the chunks were chewy and bland, and the sauce was watery and unappealing. Similarly, I went here with a friend the other day and we ordered the mac and cheese (which we used to LOVE here) and now it tastes like it is straight out of a box. We were also sad to see they removed charcuterie and pizza from the menu. Appetizers still seem the same quality. Overall i'm sad to say we will be going elsewhere. Really didn't want to give up on this place because we've been going here forever and it's a great local spot. Hoping they change the menu/recipes back to their original quality.

Sunny day on the patio. Service just OK not bad. 1 lb. of wings was $15.99 but only got 8....? Seemed a little skimpy. Fries good. Wine good. Margarita just OK.

Great bartenders and their food is home-cooked and a lot of thought and effort into each item. Smoked wings to delicious salads and amazing burgers. Something for everyone. They have trivia nights once in a while and daily specials!
