Fun, small little place with tasty home cooked meals. We went for dinner and got the vege walnut loaf and the ocean platter. While both were maybe on the heavy side, portions were generous and tasty. Loved that it was byo wine too. Only negative is that the service wasn't great... but maybe that's part of the laid back, local vibe.

Stopped here today for lunch. Great location and art work. Menu had many unusual items that sounded wonderful. Orders didn't take long and looked beautiful tasted just as good.

Just a fabulous meal. Seafood chowder to die for followed by fresh gurnard. It was a pleasure to visit.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the world! Came here twice when we were living in NZ for a short time. We had such a great experience I had to come back before we left. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. If I had to recommend one thing from the menu, it's the scallops in the Pernod cream sauce- WOW!!!

We stopped here after a long day of walking/hiking. What a pleasant surprise! We loved everything about this place: from the nice shaded yard, to the little organic shop in the back and the super friendly owner. I only shared a treat: the homemade baileys cheese cake which was very creamy yet not overly rich. Next time we are in the area we would love to come back here for a full meal.
