Rene's - Wichita

I stopped by Rene's to grab some quick Mexican food to take away. I ordered a carnitas burrito and a grilled chicken taco. I really enjoyed both dishes, especially how moist and tender the carnitas were. Everything was packed with flavor, and I added some really spicy sauce for an extra kick! The prices are quite reasonable as well. I definitely recommend skipping the Taco Shop down the street and giving this place a try.

Head over to Rene's for breakfast and try the steak, chorizo, cheese, and egg burrito. When they ask if you'd like potatoes, say no. Pour both red and green sauce over it, enjoy it with a coffee from the QuickTrip next door, and thank me later. You won't need lunch afterward—you'll still be satisfied. It's fantastic!

I've lived near this restaurant since it first opened, and my absolute favorite dish is the shrimp burrito! It's an absolute must-try. I always order it with extra white sauce and add lime juice, salt, and pepper for an amazing flavor. I've been raving about the shrimp burrito to my friends for four years, and my best friend recently tried it—she's officially hooked!
