The service was normal. not many vegan / vegetarian options. they were small and very expensive for what she was. the most expensive asian we tried in.
We went with a Chinese friend to the yummy house, and to our surprise, most other people there were Chinese. this restaurant is specialized in Nordic cuisine. we enjoyed a lot of hearty dressed lamb with divided hem, spicy bark, black, tofu with. early onseen, stir fried water spinach; I can't decide which I liked most. the personal seemed friendly that our friend had her refrigerator used for the products she had bought on the market. I would go back there.
Staying in a hotel just off the Linke Wienzelle, we decided to out and pick a restaurant as we walked by. There is a 3 or 4 block line of restaurants along the one side of the street but walking past them we found them...either too boisterous or almost empty and nothing struck our fancy. Walking back on the other side of the street we noticed Yummy House, a relatively small (about 10 tables) but nice looking place. We decided to give it a try (after all, a restaurant called Yummy House , how could you go wrong) as it was about 75% full and the food on the other tables looked very inviting. And we certainly didn 't go wrong, it was extremely good. We received very friendly service, superb food and all at a very reasonable cost. For an appetizer, two mains, green tea and a large beer it was €34. I can 't stress enough how good the food was really do give it a try.
This is my boyfriend's and my favorite among all restaurants in Vienna. We have been visiting this restaurant since its new open in 2013, and we go once or twice each month. The quality of food is not only special but also very stable. The...chef bravely sticks to his own style and authentic flavor of the region in North Western China. People who expect to have sweet and sour, acht schatz, sushi, dumplings- those typical simply duplicated Asian dishes will be disappointed. The restaurant design its own special menu and every dish turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We went again on Sunday with my boyfriend's mother and aunt who come from Innsbruck, and they are gladly surprised by the non-typical flavor. The flavor is well-appreciated by both Asians and Europeans. Some dishes can be spicy but the owners of the restaurant will gladly discuss with you, adjust the level of spice, and recommend some good options.
