Great dinner choices of short ribs and stuffed salmon along with dessert and 1/2 price wine ! Waitress,Charlotte , was very helpful since we were first timers and top notch at her job!
Lunch today was great. Our server, Skyler, was the best! Attentive, funny, and quick. Our meals were very tasty and plentiful.. I had the Reuben with a side salad and my husband had the fish and chips. We will return
My wife and I were there for lunch and I was using a knee walker. The hostess was very accommodating. Service was done on team concept so always someone checking on us. My wife got the meatloaf and I had the pastrami sandwich. Both excellent. Lots of people there for lunch but we could still have a conversation. The huge wood carved bar is beautiful and the centerpiece of the restaurant. Highly recommend. A bit out of the way, but worth the trip.
The fried green tomatoes were not what we were expecting. The plate came with 2 HUGE fried balls on some sauce with some kind of salsa stuff on it. They were hard to cut and once inside it was two thick sliced hard green tomatoes with pimento cheese melted between the slices. I feel like they are trying too hard to fancy up fried green tomatoes. Henry’s, please keep it simple. Southern food isn’t fancy
We eat a lot here and the food is great every time. We make it a work lunch or dinner and use the Wifi and get done a lot. They never push us out or look irritated because we sit there for a while. (And don't worry... we're typing for the privilege of great, consistent food. Also a beautiful place that is great for a first date when you are looking for a place! (My husband and I were on our first date 14 years ago!
