Salt Seafood Bar and Grill - Windermere

This place burnt down in a fire 6 months ago...it doesn't look as though it will reopen as it is just a burnt out shell

Salts Seafood Bar was sadly biurnt out with a number of other restaurants in the mall about six months ago from this posting date. It was sad as it was an excellent upmarket Seafood restaurant. There has been no activity as yet to rebuild or re locate.

Best food in general but the calamari was outstanding. the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good table service. Great evening out

I usually avoid places with a barker but their chalk board menu looked good. If you get to sit away from the walking street in street balcony, choose that, Cozy places and not so much hustle and bustle. Anyways, their chicken pasta was really good whereas their crab burger failed miserably: no taste and a really really dry combination.

It melts on the tongue, like it says in their menu. Strong pepper flavour and yummy from start to finish. We ended up ordering am extra portion of it. The fish taco was amazing, but extremely small portion. Get it in a bigger size and it will be a bigger hit. We'll be back next time we are in Australia.
