Avaliação da contribuiçãoOrdered breakfast for me and my partner from here via Skip. The food came delicious and hot and was beautifully presented. Great value for your dollar and would be nice to see this small corner restaurant stick around post pandemic. Great value for a meal...for two for $20!
I've been passing this little restaurant for years and for the same time I said I should really check it out. Well, Covid-19 gave me the perfect opportunity as I am looking for small local food. I ordered the black bean... noodles and a big boy with pommes. The black bean noodles were good enough, I really wanted to try. The burgers and fries were really fantastic! My biggest complaint is that I didn't try Dad's Family Restaurant earlier. I want to go back.
The atmosphere and decor is very simple. They serve Chinese and Canadian food. Nothing nice, but the portions are big.
If you feel like Jajangmyun (Korean spaghetti), come here. It is a diner type place that burgers and fried, but they have a secret Korean menu. No long list of Korean foods, but enough. But be careful not to order too much... because they only have a good cook on the staff who usually tripled as a busboy and waiter. We ordered yang yeum chicken (a Korean spicy fried chicken) and it was not ready until we finished our noodle dish so we took it home and ate it the next day. There are no supplements, so it was kind of disappointing. We asked for a bowl of rice and that was not possible...go figure?? The restaurant is in urgent need of a makeover, as it sits in the forest of plastic flowers, old carpet and 80’a junior type bench. You have boxes of trivial business cards while you wait...maybe you know how long the service takes? It's quirky but hey the whole place is weird, why not!
Went here with kids and adults. Decor is simple and a bit old, but the food is excellent and not overpriced. Staff is very welcoming. Good variety of north american food and korean food. For example, our table ordered in same meal: bacon and eggs,...korean pork dumplings, hamburger and fries, and korean spicy noodle seafood soup. Something for everyone!
