They have vegetarian options for my favourite food and that makes me really happy! I've eaten a few times from here, so delicious.

Mercadito latino is a large local, family-run restaurant serving a much more authentic Salvadoran and central American dishes in the west end of winnipeg. I recently stayed here at dinner on the 18th juli 2020 visited and eaten here. at my last visit I ordered the vegetarian tacos, consisting of maistortillas, filled with roasted beans, avocado and pico de gallo and a side homemade salsa. they were delicious and satisfied! the menu has other vegan/vegetarian options, including begging pupusas, corn tamales and other dishes that I impressed. the service is friendly and they also have a small load in the restaurant with authentic food from Central America. the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy and it feels like it is in the home of a local food.

I recently visited here for dinner on July 18, 2020 and have previously eaten here as well. On my most recent visit, I ordered the vegetarian tacos which consisted of corn tortillas filled with refried beans, avocado, and pico de gallo and a side of homemade salsa. They were delicious and satisfying! The menu has other vegan/vegetarian options as well including bean pupusas, corn tamales and other dishes which I was impressed by. The service is friendly and they also have a small store within the restaurant with authentic food products from Central America. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy and it feels like you're eating in the home of a local.

Food was good, but very small portions. Our server, I believe the owner, was not very welcoming. Didn't crack a smile, was hard to get questions answered, dismissed my inquiry about a beer (not licenced (No real atmosphere (music perhaps? .Not my first choice for el Salvador food.
