Red Lobster - Winnipeg

My aunt and I went here on Terry Fox Day to celebrate as we both have birthdays in August.This place never disappoints. The food was excellent, service was prompt and friendly.We were a little tired and loopy from being out all day and the server was so gracious. and took mercy on us that we forgot out coupons for our birthday and let me bring them up on my phone even though I am sure it said on it that it had to be printed.Loved the new caprice salad option my aunt and I paid a little extra to have it as our appetizer.will return again

Today was was the best meal an service i have had at this restaurant! Meal was excellent so was the service (thank you Ryan).

Revisited our local Red Lobster after a few years. Was drawn in by the Crab Fest advertising program. The good news is that the advertising said crab would be served and that was completely true. Not sure what the soggy crab legs were all about but I expected to get a snap ready shell but the steamed into submission legs were wimpy at best and discouraging at worst. Add some cold melted butter (the old days of having butter warmers for every meal are long, long gone). The Red Lobster buns are still exceptional and can easily absorb your appetite if you let them get hold of you. Fresh salad is really well done too. Wish we had stopped with buns and salad. Liquor selections are limited but cover a good range with the few available selections. Service is pretty well in step with the kitchen and little more. Decor is still fish dock-esque only with seagull sound effects missing. Maintenance is questionable especially after checking out the fresh lobster tank that was so murky that we weren't sure what we saw slugging around in that disgusting fluid. Needless to say, none of us ordered fresh lobster. Prices are silly high for the delivered food quality. It will be a least a few years before we would dare try out a Red Lobster.

We went for the Crab Fest, but ended up ordering something else. The crab menu did not look that great and was very expensive. We ended up with Steak and Shrimp and Chicken. They were both very good. The waiter was knew what he was doing and was friendly and service was very fast.

We love Red Lobster. Took my granddaughters there on two different occasions. Food is always wonderful. We go at least 3 times a year. Love their new menu.
