Sweet Potatoes - Winston Salem

I had the catfish and duck with red sauce on a platter last night. I also ordered the chef's special for the night, the seafood gumbo with salmon, and had it for lunch today.....absolute heaven! The service was good (not great because I had to alert the hostess that my daughter and I sat for 5 minutes without being greeted by our waitress!) The atmosphere was good (not great because it was a bit chilly.) I highly recommend the sweet potatoes as a must-try dish and will definitely be returning!

The bread pudding was absolutely amazing, more than 5 stars! My dining experience on the lovely terrace was fantastic. We started with baked oysters on salad, followed by the delicious sweet potato bread. The uptown cosmopolitan cocktail was the best in the city, no contest. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. The fried chicken was some of the best I've ever had.
