Winthrop Arms

It's just Okay. Basic rooms that are a bit dated and could use some TLC. Very few (if any) amenities provided but sufficient for a one night stay close to the airport if you bring your own toiletries. Keurig and fridge in room were not used by us. Walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors conversation as well as the kitchen of the restaurant. Luckily we travel with a sound machine so we could tune it out. Check in is at the host stand in the restaurant. Short walk (1/2 block) to oceanfront parking. Restaurant service was polite and efficient, food was okay. Overall, for the price, I'm more likely to chose a chain hotel, which is usually a more guaranteed experience. Rooms: Dated with obvious wear and tear. Heat was non existent Food drinks: Mediocre at best for food. Drinks were good but nothing special. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 4

Had a short stay here prior to a stay in Boston centre. Really enjoyed our stay here, friendly staff tried the restaurant very good I like exploring on foot, this was a great place to stay. No breakfast service, there is a place nearby. Noteworthy details: Within easy reach of coffee shops, nice place to explore. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

The restaurant is located in an old building. The room we were in was stuffy and we had difficulty sleeping because the air conditioning unit would turn on, but the vent was not set up to vent out of a window, so it just vented back into the room. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 1, the service a 4, and the location a 5.

Not recommended. The price and location do not justify the subpar experience. Rooms receive a rating of 2, service a rating of 1, and location a rating of 1.

This hidden gem is a great find in Winthrop, MA! The cozy rooms overlooking the water have a classic inn feel and are clean and comfortable. The hosts are fantastic and the location is convenient with easy access to the airport and public transportation. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location a 5 out of 5. Highlights of the hotel include a great view and a peaceful atmosphere.
