Avaliação da contribuiçãoIt was a gorgeous night so who can resist getting some ice cream! We drove to BDI (Bridge Drive-in) because we haven't been there in a very long time.
My wife and I stayed one night at this Inn on Friday night. Check in was smooth and we got to enjoy the afternoon sitting out on their chairs enjoying a bottle of wine. We booked the "Cottage Room" (Room #12) which is on the third floor. When we arrived we able to see inside most of the other rooms and all are clean and well decorated. Slight differences in each room and the website is an accurate reflection. For our room, no small refrigerator like other rooms, but we chad a cooler so no problem. They claim the bed is queen size, but there must be smaller versions of queen size beds. But bed and pillows comfortable. We did find the room warm and there was a small air conditioner. But until we turned on a fan near the air conditioner the room remained warm. This was in early June so in July and August some may find this room too hot. This room has a large double Jacuzzi tub which is surprisingly deep. Many other rooms have Jacuzzi tubs, but they are shorter in length and not "double" size. The Inn both inside and out are great and quiet. Breakfast consisted of eggs and a sausage. Nothing fancy but still good. Overall, the Inn is a great place to stay.
We stayed for 2 nights in this wonderfull historic inn.Our room was very comfortable with a good sized bathroom. The whole inn simply takes you back in time and is a magical place to stay.Close to the town and several attractions.A must place to stay. You will not be disapointed.
What a beautiful Inn with a fascinating history. The furnishings are so lovely with antiques but modern touches. We were so fortunate to have been upgraded to the "Honeymoon Suite" - magnificent! We would certainly want to book that suite again. Our suite was sparkling clean, lovely amenities, a jacuzzi bath and shower stall. We felt the breakfasts were not quite to our taste. We have been used to breakfasts in Scotland, where there is always, fruit, cereal, fresh baked scones, muffins, etc. available as well as a cooked breakfast. At Victoria's, you are offered the hot breakfast of eggs, meat, pancakes or French toast and fruit, as a set meal. But that is a minor complaint.
My husband and I spent our 1st Anniversary at this B&B. We loved it! Its an old Victorian home with all the cute things you would want an old Victorian home to have. The breakfast was lovely, and we really enjoyed it. But not amazing enough for us to go back to regularly.
