This place is extremely clean and I enjoyed observing the culture at work. The staff are great people, always very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is comfortable and has a homely feeling. In my professional opinion as a food enthusiast, I would give this franchise a 10/10 rating and 5 stars. I have visited multiple times and the staff always encourage me to try something new, and every dish has been amazing. Thank you for the great service and authentic Portuguese cuisine. The chicken at Uptown BBQ was cooked perfectly and everything tasted fresh and made with care. The special house pirpir sauce was a great addition to the dish, creating a wonderful combination of flavors. The portion size was generous and satisfying. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast. The owner was friendly and welcoming, ensuring that the restaurant was clean and inviting. The server, a young lady with black hair, was also friendly and provided excellent service. The atmosphere felt like home and the food was delicious. I would definitely return to this family-oriented restaurant in the future. Overall, I highly recommend Uptown BBQ for its fresh, delicious, and lovingly made Portuguese food. Stumbled in this restaurant through Uber Eats.Let's just say I'm done with Swiss Chalet and any restaurant like it.The chicken at Uptown is fresh, tasty and the portion is plenty. There is great value here and it has now become my go-to place for lunch.You will not be disappointed.

Food is good but they scam you on price.Edited for comment below. I think the issue is I’m not ignorant. Your staff who didn’t know what to charge me was ignorant cause they knew you were making up the price and didn’t know what to put in. I’m ok with prices going up. But charge what your own board says, not more. And there is cheaper, I’ll go there. Thanks.They charged me more than their price and when I questioned why so much they clearly knew they were caught. I chose not to make a deal of it, it’s Christmas, give them some extra money, whatever, but it’s not ok to act like that. Won’t be going back.

The chicken was wonderfully juicy and flavorful. The piri piri sauce was the best I've ever had! The price for two chickens, large roast potatoes, and large rice was very reasonable. We were so happy we decided to try this place for our New Year's Eve dinner. We will definitely be getting our Portuguese chicken from Uptown BBQ in the future!
