Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhen mentioning Cam Wah or Xiu Mai to a local, childhood memories of the tomato soup with fresh chilli, wet dim sum and fresh fried donuts to accompany, come to mind to warm your belly. A tucked away restaurant that hasn’t changed on the outside, with more modern decor recently, in the western suburbs owned by a family that have been making this for longer than I’ve been alive is here, making delicious and authentic Vietnamese and Chinese food. I love coming here when I need that comfort food and it never ever disappoints. Just remember the service is straight to the point and they only take cash so be prepared.
You can't go wrong with anything you order at this restaurant - it's all delicious! I highly recommend trying the tomato soup with bread sticks. The Pho and other soups are also fantastic. I recently had the broken rice combo and it was authentic and well-done. This is real, traditional food done right. I always enjoy coming back for another great meal.
I adore the dim sum soup and curly doughnuts at this restaurant! I have been a loyal customer for years and the food has always been consistently good. However, the place could use a refresh. Oh, and a word of advice - you might want to hold off on using the restroom here. Trust me on that.
Amazing food. Been here since I was little and food is still the same old traditional Chinese. Absolutely love their entree especially fried Chinese curlers with dim sim tomato soup
I have been dining at this restaurant for 27 years and I absolutely love the food! My family and friends now also frequent this place because we can't resist dishes like dimsum, curlers, and pancakes. The staff, especially Than, knows our orders by heart. A big congratulations to the Cam Wah family for running such a great restaurant. I am now going to call in for a takeaway. LOL! - Pam
