Avaliação da contribuiçãoWow! is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of this place!! If you are extremely hungry want flavorful food this is the place to go! We went in on a busy Saturday night was seated within 5 minutes. The waiter was fast friendly telling us the specials as well as answering all questions about substitutions, ingredients. They have a massive menu to go through everything sounds good. We ordered the raspberry margarita special for $6.50. The macho burrito, cam Vallarta added grilled chicken no mushrooms no beans, the casa trio. All food was excellent, hot fresh tasting with extremely generous portions! Like the portion sizes are enough to share one meal even with a man. The trio was three proteins...steak with grilled onions, mushrooms, shrimp with mushrooms grilled chicken with a smoked jalepeno, rice, beans...$25 The Vallarta... for $19 you get shrimp, chicken with zucchini, yellow orange carrots in a great sauce with some cheese, rice, small salad. The macho burrito $11) was plate length stuffed with chicken, rice beans cheese on top. I will return to this place when I return to the area.
Casa Hacienda used to be at West side of two but moved to this new location about 2 years ago. The place is very classic Mexican decor. Servers are friendly. My go to is Shrimp Diablo. What makes this place unique is they make their tortillas in-house and they are as fresh as you can imagine. All entrees are served with side of rice and beans, not pictured here. Soft pillowy doughs of goodness. They have great drinks as well.
I stop by Casa Hacienda every so often but I've never left a review before. Must've slipped my mind. Here's a tip. If you ever find your sinuses clogged, come here and order their ceviche appetizer. They will clear up in under 2 minutes. Just forget to order it non spicy. I don't know what they marinate the shrimp in but it looks like hot sauce, not citrus juice. Either that or they don't marinate it at all. The shrimp looked like it had been cooked. Not proper ceviche, people! It's a cold cooking method!! After my mouth cooled down I devoured my fajitas with due haste. Quite tasty with iced tea, everything was. I'd recommend Casa Hacienda to everyone. They've never failed to please, ceviche notwithstanding. It's not exactly disappointing but just different. A shame, too, because the other local restaurant that serves ceviche doesn't donut as an appetizer. Not a bad thing I'd that's all you're after. But today I wanted more.
We dined at casa hacienda grill for dinner after visiting the Columbus Zoo. We only waited a short time for a table. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. All of our food was delicious. I got the chicken fajita quesadilla and it was wonderful. The portions are huge. We were very pleased and happy we decided on here for dinner.
This was the first time I'd ever visited a Mexican restaurant where they give complimentary bean dip with the chips as well as salsa. It was very tasty to boot. We weren't starving so we got the appetizer sampler to split and we only ate about 3/4 of it before we were stuffed. So in other words, it was huge. I don't think the picture does it justice. The beer was nice and cold too. The waitress made us wait for longer than I would've liked after we got served though. It took a while for her to check on us and then for the bill at the end. Despite that, I would still visit here again next time I'm in Columbus.
