Sometimes the queue can be edging on the ludicrous on a Saturday night but that’s the same with everywhere. The only real downside is that it isn’t open 24/7!
My wife and I usually visit the wetherspoons on regent street however they were unusually busy so decided to try The North and South Wales Bank. Ordered the pizza deal and it was very underwhelming. Dough was raw in the middle, missing toppings and the tables where disgustingly sticky. Service was just as lacklustre. All staff very rude. When I asked for a clean glass for my wife’s wine I was met with rolling eyes and a snappy response. The gentlemen’s toilets were an absolute shambles. The floor was completely covered in what I can only assume was urine judging by the smell. Doesn’t deserve a star truly disgusting.
We visited North&south wales bank on a Tuesday night the pub was very busy so we found a table and I went to the bar to order a drink,I could not believe it they had one chap serving and one girl serving table orders I waited about 10 minutes and on two occasions customers just went straight to the bar and got served straight away when I was expected to carry on waiting. You could tell that the bar man had nothing about him so I suppose what do you expect and we will not be back in the future.
We had breakfast here one morning it was fairly quiet as it was early, but for a man in there working, but I don't suppose there's a right or wrong time to do your job. The man behind the bar was really welcoming, we got served our breakfast in no time at all. Why are the baked beans always cold though?
Great service, lovely staff,as always, and the food is always spot on. However, why the insistence on showing horse racing all the time? Its cruel, and the only people that like it are tories and old men with red noses. I understand that you can't show the footy, which is fine, but what's wrong with a bit of bargain hunt or homes under the hammer? X
