Avaliação da contribuiçãoNow it really worked and we ended up in San Leo last Friday night. The park situation would make a certain Mr. Grönemeyer desperate in the trendy scene quarter in the valley of the Wupper. We were lucky this time and were directly “umme Egge”. Otherwise there is a large parking space at the Bundesallee, right next to the PM petrol station – from 18:00 on free to the Luisenviertel there are just a few steps. I had reserved more than in time at the beginning of December by phone. A slightly breathless, but very friendly Lord murmured somewhat from “oh, next year....calender” but he would like to call me back the next day at a fixed time. I was curious! But on time like the wall called Giacomo and confirmed our request. At the beginning of last week a retrieval took place, whether it remained at the agreed date. Conspicuous with such a long lead time, “no shows” are extremely annoying for every gastronomic and for a small restaurant with just 18 seats, a non-appearance may mean a total damage. I had once stumbled on the net and learned that a multi-course surprise menu is also offered, on the clear website the inclined guest is just experiencing the opening hours. And! Very important: “No card payment! We do not create mechanical invoices”. We are surprised today, three times the T menu of 50, € and once à la carte, the dishes on the large wall panel are listed in Italian, the Italian holidaymaker decides one or the other, but our young service lady explains to us every single position very detailed and likes to answer any requests. The ambience has already described First in detail. It is really cuddly tight here, the furnishings are very simple and the chairs are lightly shaky and not ultra comfortable. Sure, it's not everyone's thing. We like such shops, there is a very special, almost family atmosphere and as a guest you can really feel welcome. Giacomo greets kindly from the very small, recognizable kitchen and we are kindly arranged by a very warm waiter. According to the motto: We love what we do!! But to the essence. Immediately a lot of appetizers have been served, or rather a little bit of small kitchen greetings. Later followed pasta, main course and dessert. Cheeseed apple with fish rogen (first kitchen greeting The other appetizers/sweets were served for 3 people for sharing: delicious peal clams pickled salmon goat cereal Tatare di Vitello della casa calfstatar with vigil Vitello Tonnato baked onion with a wonderful aromatic onion clam See below! Our family specialist would have been thrilled and would certainly have spoken of “poor idolation”......the expression of adolescent can be easily alienated! The PLV would be meticulously rated with a nice one, but we are also in the Luisenviertel, the prices here are partly somewhat higher than elsewhere in the city triangle. The kitchen feet for sharing are quite small. Good eaters drive à la carte safe better. Qualitative and tasteful everything was excellent and of course I also take into account the immense workload. But! There were a few small drops of wormwood: It was served very hard, making it a bit uncomfortable. Once we were even informed that the next gear is already waiting. Jo, even northern lights can snap a lot! Possibly that the table should be quickly restocked, outside a glass of Prosecco the next guests waited for our place. We were not asked to go and could have stayed. But that's how the beautiful evening was slightly saddened. We have paid 127, € for two, the individual prices for the drinks I cannot fully understand and therefore an Aperol splash and two small Pils would have cost over €20, which can not really be. A proper document would be useful, we did not receive an invoice. But it's stupid! Italian cuisine beyond the mainstream is not available at every corner. We'll be back. Let's see....to two, with friends or with our pubertier! Did I forget anything else? Yes! The open Vermentino di Sardegna (0.15 l to 4.50 is quite neat.....

If you like Italian food with a difference, San Leo will give you all you expected and more. The buzz of the place ensures your enjoyment of the whole dining experience. The food is excellent, the wines are brilliant and not overpriced, and the service...is friendly and helpful. It always seems to be full so be sure to make reservations in time. Take cash with you because cards are not accepted.
I was there with a group. We all took the full menu EUR per person). Many small dishes and very tasty. I guess it took us more than hours to eat all. The wine prices are good and the atmosphere is this small...place is great very friendly staff. I would love to go there again.
Pleasantly I surprised with the treatment of staff although not speak a word of English. The food was well cooked, the pasta al dente.
