Avaliação da contribuiçãoPROS: The biggest advantage to live here is that they are PEST FREE, quiet neighborhood, clean and modern looking apartments with new appliances and in unit washing machine and dryer. Dante and the maintenance team are great and respond very quickly to requests. The reasons are well maintained in the warmer months. Trash is removed every day from containers! CONS: No sound proofing at all. Dog puppet and shopping trolley from Giant left everywhere, which is the fault of the tenants, the place they live not to respect. Maintenance is doing a good job cleaning these things. There are still 5 stars because there is PEST FREE, dog friendly, well maintained and we do not care about common apartment noise. The pros outweigh the contrasts so If you can see past, we highly recommend it!
Management and maintenance teams are excellent! They set a standard that, in my humble opinion, increases the likelihood of winning high-quality tenants because of the quality of the care they provide. Messages and updates are delivered promptly, informatively and by email. There is a community board where tenants can share and connect with each other, based on their professions and services, also by email. Finally, the apartments have a large natural light, the grounds are well kept, and the facility is pet-friendly. But what is unpaid is the proximity, the walking distance to/from the supermarket, restaurants, Bed,Bath Beyond, Whole Foods and more great location!
The Wynnewood is located in a major transportation service where the easy commutes to center city or other important cities (bus, subway, and car) are possible. It exists near Giant, Whole Foods, USPS, UPS, Fedex where we can do grocery or send mails by walking. Also, it's rental fee is relatively cheap. Recently, they have tried to offer the laundry machine to each individual unit. Because of Covid, there is some difficulty in communication. However, compared to its price, I think that it offers a relatively good service. Both managers and management team tried to offer convenient services.
Cool apartment building that was built during World War II for OSS Intelligence Housing and has a large contiguous basement that I exited from the grounds when an unwanted guest arrives. Thought it was a nice apartment in relatively safe neighborhood and maintenance was friendly. Could have been about $400-500 cheaper. Mainline rentals, (and Philly rentals in general) tend to be far too expensive. The interiors of the photos look like they had been renovated, but then I had a nice bathroom, bedroom and living room. Kitchen was a non-so-nice kitchen kitchen with dining area. Laundry was easily accessible in the basement and terrain were well kept. Parking is available on the back and on the street. The apartment door looked like the ones in this picture, although this was not from the Wynnewood.
I moved to The Wynnewood in 2018, this was back when Alterra Property Group took over the apartments. There was an initial management staff that unfortunately did not do a very good job of managing the property and had extremely poor customer service skills. They would mishandle a lot of guest complaints. For example, I personally saw one older lady almost in tears about an issue she was facing with her apartment. She was trying to tell them about a problem, but the lease consultant wasn't even giving her her full attention and was just kind of brushing this lady off- no comforting words of sympathy, no sincere apologies, just nothing. The attitude was just so bad, they just kind of let her hang out to dry- almost like they didn't care if she left or not. This bad customer service resulted in the property receiving A LOT of negative reviews. Not only that but people were breaking lease and moving out by the dozens. We STAYED because we really like how spacious and quiet our apartment is and for the price it is one of the ABSOLUTE BEST deals around here. It is right across from Wynnewood Shopping center and the train station. A really great find. However the management was just so terrible that it was driving a lot of people away because of them mishandling customer complaints. The Alterra Property Group listened to their tenants and that FORMER MANAGEMENT TEAM HAS BEEN REMOVED! The Wynnewood now has NEW MANAGEMENT! The manager here now is named Michael Ketcham and he has been by far one of the most accommodative managers I've ever worked with. I highly recommend giving him a call and looking at the apartments before writing them off because of the negative reviews caused by the previous management team. These apartments are beautiful. Set on lovely grounds with a park style feel and so extremely quiet. I have lived here for three years and I have never been able to hear any of my neighbors speak. Whenever we have guests here they are shocked that they cannot hear anything from our neighboring apartments. My experience with Michael has been nothing short of exceptional. He works extremely hard to accommodate my requests and when I lodge a complaint about an issue it is often fixed within the week if not on that same day. The apartments themselves are really nice- that was never the problem. The main thing wrong was the poor management and bad customer service and those people have been replaced, by Michael- a fantastic guy who is very keen on changing the way tenant issues are handled here. Come by and see for yourself! :
