Avaliação da contribuiçãoI ordered the lamb Curry extra sharp and it DID NOT disappointed. The meat was so delicate and the sauce was as tasteful and spicy as I wanted. I picked it up to dinate and once I came home, the food was still hot and amazing. Great work and I will definitely go back.
A friend wanted to try something new for her birthday, so we drove here. The food was delicious (I have the Achar chicken tandoori) and the waiter was very patient in answering many questions. I had enough food for a second meal the next day, so I had to enjoy it twice!
Very good delicious Indian food. Sometimes meet or miss with certain dishes coming to watery/soup, but the rice is always great n the flavors. Something pricier than the other Indian restaurants nearby, but definitely the most classic.
I ate here a few years ago and was not impressed. I recently tried again, and I'm glad I did. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back soon.
I came to Reading to visit and stay with a friend for sometime and had a craving for Indian food. Being Indian American myself, I am naturally choosy and discriminating when choosing an Indian restaurant to dine at. Since I'm not from the area, I had to Google to see where the nearest Indian joints were. This place had consistently high ratings, 4 and above. I must start off by saying that the staff was welcoming and friendly. I chose the buffet to sample and get a feel of their general daily menu. The food was of good quality, but wasn't outstanding. The lemon rice didn't have enough salt. Veggie dishes were good and had the right traditional consistency in texture and taste. The chicken curry was seasoned well, but the chicken wasn't as soft and tender as I would have liked. They didn't have a lamb or goat dish as most Indian buffets offer. They should have offered a fish curry dish in lieu of the lamb or goat at the very least. The Indian rice pudding was too watery and not of thicker consistency. Overall a good place in a smaller city like Reading.
