The Ivy St Helen's Square - York

The food was excellent and the service was attentive without being too overbearing.

Great service. Were seated even when arriving 20 minutes early due to poor weather. Had a voucher and so were communicated with well on how to use and were treated amazingly throughout our afternoon tea visit

I am a big fan of the Ivy chain, but I was let down by the York branch. The usual warm welcome that I associate with Ivy was missing, the music was too loud, and some of the side dishes were served cold. Overall, the experience lacked the special touches that I have enjoyed at other Ivy locations I have visited.

I came to celebrate my husband's birthday at The Ivy in York, and it was a beautiful experience! The hostesses at the front desk were dressed smartly, and we were escorted to a cozy table. Our Italian waiter was friendly and sociable, and the food was perfect. They even surprised my husband with a special treat for his birthday, which was a lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would like to thank the staff for a wonderful evening.

Fabulous service. We arrived earlier than our booking and they accommodated us without hesitation. Beautiful, well presented, delicious food and excellent service. Would highly recommend
