Topoli - York

The food at this restaurant is amazing! It is delicious and full of flavor, and it arrived very hot. They went above and beyond by delivering to a location slightly further than the advertised 3 miles on Just Eat and their website. When I called to place my order, they were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the Aris Kabab and a side of chips.

I tried Topoli for the first time and will definitely be returning! The food was delicious, hot, and really fresh. The lamb, chicken kebabs, and salmon were all excellent. It was nice to have fresh lemon, salad, and tomato on the side. The quality was great and the delivery was well wrapped in easy foil trays. Thank you and highly recommend!

As someone of Persian descent, I found the portion sizes to be unusually small compared to other restaurants we've visited in the past. The Soltani kebab was disappointingly narrow. The Koofteh sauce was overly oily. The Zeytoon parvardeh lacked dressing and walnuts, and I can make a better version at home. What's more, I requested Sumaq to be included with our meal, but it was forgotten. Overall, I was not impressed and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Some of it is good, some of it is ok... If it had some competition it would have to improve. Better than nothing. A response to Topoli. Firstly my approach to stars. 5 outstanding 4 very good 3 good 2 poor 1 stay away. Secondly the meal was ok and parts were good. The eggplant stew was a little bland, one part of the order was missing, (but no biggie; it happens), the gormeh sabzi's were both good and the rice was fine. So on balance overall ... Good. Where have been... All over but as you say, not in York. I have had better (in UK.. best was in Leeds, but also elsewhere)... But believe me I have had MUCH worse.

Absolutely fabulous. I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. Always arrives hot, delivery guys are lovely and polite, arrives in good time and the notes placed against the order are always read and honoured. The prices are fair for the quality and quantity, lovely and fresh and I can eat good food without pushing up the calories. Very happy days, thanks Topoli for your Persian cuisine
