Avaliação da contribuiçãoI went with a few of my friends to this plaza for lunch from time to time. You have to bring cash to most of the places, Asian Legend is one of the very few restaurant that accept credit card.On top, you can expect quality food from north China. I enjoy their siu lon bao ( dumbling with soup inside ) hot and sour soup and the sticky rice. If you find this review helpful, please vote for me.
Dishes portion seems smaller than the one in T.O. Chinatown. Terrible beef shank/tendons/fat in the well-known beef noodle soup!! Need to improve & give the `real beef' to live up the Asian Legend famous beef noodle soup!
The tables were arranged too close to one another, which is understandable from a business point of view. The dishes were authentic and a good value. We tried their peking duck, their chicken wanton soup, and a number of traditional Chinese dishes. They were all excellent.
Very popular with Chinese speakers/natives; was a bit loud with kids running all over; food was good, especially shumai and pan fried dumplings.
We have been to Asia Legend a few times and always enjoyed the food.Today, Saturday, we arrived at 6:20 pm. There were still empty tables. For both of us,We ordered pan fried dumplings ( good), hot and sour soup ( too much vinegar )We kept coughing from the excess vinegar, spicy shredded beef ( over fried beef )Beef sauté and broccoli was alright. The cook must be having an off day.Disappointing dinner.
