Commisso Brothers-Racco Italia - York

I popped in yesterday to pick up some bread rolls. I make it a point when I am fairly close to make a detour as their bread is VERY good. I also saw they had empanadas so I bought 2. YUMMY. I usually go for a rice ball or a panzerotti, both of which are tasty. I also picked up a few cream horns for a friend as I know they love the pastry here.

Our go to anytime Italian food, it's open 24 hours it's awesome . They only accept cash but I've see those private cash machine near the door that you can take out money. They have everything Italian plus more.

This is a take out place where one can get all kinds of great food fast, 24 hours, 7 days a week. From lasagna and other pasta dishes, to sausages, sandwiches (veal, chicken, beef...), great desserts, coffees☕️, fresh baked breads...Too many items to mention here.It's all good, it's fast, and it's tasty.Worth repeat visits! Been coming here every month for over 50 years!Good Appetite!

I have been going to Commisso Brothers-Racco Italian Bakery since I was a kid with family and friends.This Italian bakery/ hot table/ convenience store offers delicious and consistently great tasting items, (mostly take-out, 24 hour/ 7 days a week). It is a family business, offering Italian dishes like lasagna, veal cutlet sandwiches, gnocchi, hot and mild sausages, just to mention a few, because there are too many beautiful items to list here.The sweet baked goods, the oven fresh breads and rolls are soooo tasty. The selection of deli meats cut fresh from the slab. I really enjoy going there for the gelato icecream. You can get a huge portion for only 3 dollars with many flavors included. Would really recommend the strawberry and lemon flavour. However, the chocolate and hazelnut can often leave a greasy taste in your mouth. Overall really worth it for the icecream and large variety of pastries.
