Rosa Restaurant & Banquet Hall - York

I went here with my parents and my fiance on new years eve. The atmosphere is beautiful they some times have a live piano player playing, the service an food were great however I am against VEAL and they serve it so if you go please don't order it cause its very cruel, thanks*)

Rosa's new location was a little disappointed as compared to the old location. The restaurant is too bright and tables are too close together. Food quality is average at best. Not worth the while to go out of the way to a small plaza in Woodbridge.

Busy, bright rooms are alive with energy. Food is delivered quickly and fresh. A restaurant is judged on its har gow and the Celestial Har gow had a generous amount of shrimp and were steamed to perfection. Other standouts were the calamari arms, steamed rice noodle rolls, pan fried dumplings, and the black bean noodles with chili and pork. A very pleasant dim sum experience.

Very good dim sum but a little on the pricey side. Been there for a wedding and the dinner served that night was excellent.

Really good deals on dinner abalone/shark fin sets. The French restaurant side has really good lunch deals with an appetizer (salad, escargot bruchetta, or soup), main course, and dessert for $10 - $20 depending on the main course. The room is also very beautiful and quite, great for lunch meetings.
