La Torre Taqueria - Ypsilanti

I eat here 3 times a week sometimes.The food is really that good. Always fresh ingredients, when I order beef taco’s, it’s straight beef hardly any fat or bits that are non edible. I’m not into hot salsa but the salsa here has the heat and taste to go with it so I throw it all over…Much respect to the staff because I have never had a wrong order or any problem for that matter. I lived in a Latino part of LA so I got to eat some of the best Mexican food in the US. La Torre is as good as any restaurant/taco truck I've been to, which means it's AMAZING! This might be the best Mexican food in Michigan. Cheap tamales, amazing food, they have tripe and langua and all the stuff that's hard to find.

The food was amazing and the portions were huge. The torta had a lot of meat which I loved. The taco comes with two tortillas and enough meat to make two tacos. I highly recommend this place!

Tried 6 different tacos and everything was good for what it costs. But their taco de carnitas and tripa are exceptional. Especially the tripa was the best taco I've ever had in my entire life. Another great thing about this place is their corn tortilla. It smells like heaven. Their price is another good thing. Tripa is 5 stars, carnitas and pork belly 4.5, others 3.5~4.0.
