Las RO Tortas Ahogadas & Cenaduria

Mexico is known for its amazing food! But as everybody knows, Mexico is a very big country therefore every city has its own special dishes. At Guadalajara one of the most famous dishes is the Torta Ahogada and this restaurant Las Ro has very delicious Tortas Ahogadas as you can see in the picture I added . There is a place in the middle of the restaurant where you can choose al the toppings you want to add. If you like eating local, Las Ro is a must at Guadalajara.

While strolling Chapalita we decided to try them, to my surprise they offer tortas ahogadas (a sandwich with a local fussion bread, baguette made with sour dough) mainly, decor and accommodations are better than similar outlets. Service to your table is good and selection of pork meats is ample, leg, throat, tongue, belly, rib and young cheese (panela) for those who are vegetarians. A nice touch is a cold hot table displaying sauces with different rankings in the Scoville scale, pungency, which is the how (hot) a pepper can be. You can also have soft pork carnitas , tostadas (flat deep fried tortilla topped with meat and vegetables) and pozole (spicy pork broth with corn kernels) For desserts, mexican creme brulè (jericalla) is available On beverages, try boing a fruit based non carbonated soft drink bottled by a Union that will bring childhood memories for over 40 's. If new to the torta ahogada look for a tutorial, since it is not your regular sandwich because you should soaked in sauce to eat it like a Tapatío and not necessarily has to be hot. Be ready to use more napkins than usual, I assure you will become better with practice, if getting hooked like me since my first taste 25 years ago while Freshman at a local university.

Desde que llegue con mi familia nos atendieron de mala gana , antipatía ... la barra descuidada , mal servida , la verdura y nopales ya estaba con mal sabor comenzaba a descomponerse. HABLO MI ESPOSA CON EL GERENTE Y MUY AMABLEMENTE SE DISCULPÓ ... AL FINAL NOS SENTIMOS ATENDIDOS Y QUEDAMOS CON BUEN SABOR DE BOCA PUES VIMOS UN CAMBIO EN EL TRATO Y ATENCIÓN.

Es un lugar con comida buena y precios accesibles. Recomendadas las tortas ahogadas de pierna y camarón.

Excelente lugar de antojitos mexicanos. Todo es muy recomendable en especial las tortas ahogadas, tacos gobernador y pozole.
