Deutschherrenhof - Zeltingen-Rachtig

After we were disappointed to visit another restaurant, we moved a day later, during our short holiday only a locality. It should be a nice evening, because it was for my husband and me, a special day. It was the first beautiful Sunday in mid April and we were looking for a cozy place on the terrace.... Two very friendly and attentive waiters should be for us tonight... instantly and the card was taken and we were already asked if we had a drink before. Since we had a nice apartment here in the village, we ordered a 0.5 litre dark yeast wheat for 3.40 euros and then sneak through the menu. We decided to bake pork steak with tomatoes and cheese, with roasts and salads of the season. It was a great choice, perfect and crisp fresh... and the food that came was the gun. The steaks were cooked to the point, wonderfully juicy and delicate. The shares that did not look so large were still really enough to be filled and that for 13.00 euros per person.... When we finished, he was back at our table, one of the beautiful cellars with his friendly appearance and smile on his face. Since this day was a special one for us, we had put the ice card on the table. So there were two ice cups for dessert, even if we were fed, but ice cream is always right? So we chose a nutcracker for 4.30 euros and a black knight for 4.40 euros... and I can only tell you that the icecream cups were fantastic.... After we had paid, the nice waiter recommended some of the sights around Zeltingen-Rachtig. And so it became a really successful and wonderful evening. Here we go again and again and recommend the Deutschherrenhof much more.... However, I would like to say that my assessment refers only to the restaurant and not to the connected hotel .... Free parking is here right on the street and if maybe not directly in front of the restaurant something is free, then just a few meters further... but that fits....
