Hibachi Express Zephyrhills

It's order at the counter and seat yourself here. They offer a huge menu of sushi and hibachi entres. I ordered the volcano roll and a bottle of water. They have fountain drinks and hot green tea, Japanese soda, and bubble tea. The cashier was friendly. The food was served to my table quickly. This was not the dining experience that I was expecting, but it isn't too bad for fast food. The volcano roll is okay.

I hate to post bad reviews on restaurants and businesses but this one is a must. First and foremost, the staff were very nice and we had no problems in that regard. However, the quality of ingredients and most importantly the smell were so poor that it made the whole experience awful.Upon entering the restaurant, a rancid, rotten smell was apparent. It was so strong that we considered leaving. The last thing you want to smell when you enter a sushi restaurant is rotten fish. That’s exactly what this smells like. We decided to commit and try it out. My party ordered 2 spicy crab rolls, 2 California Rolls and 1 crunch roll. We tried them and the ingredients were all mush. We expected such out of the avocado but it was extra mushy and clearly not very fresh. The smell was so overwhelming that our stomachs had already turned by the time we finally got to eat. I’m honestly unsure if I will ever give this place a second chance, unfortunately. Not with the way it smelled.

This place should be shut down, I order from both the china wok and hibachi express. Both establishments have had maggots each meal I have had. I will be uploading pictures shortly. This is absolutely ridiculous. The smell from both places too is rancid and putrid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING!!!Food: 1/5

Gyoza was amazing. We ended ordering 6 orders of them. 2 soups and 1 fries and 3 steamed. Steamed was the best!We did order a chicken and broccoli and rice and noodles hibachi. Chicken was a little dry and the noodles were not to “my” liking but over all would definitely go back for the gyoza!
