Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe think his name is michael. I had my jubilee there and he did everything possible to ruin my dinner with my lady. he was arrogant, unhappy to speak English, to communicate with my dame only in German, not in the position to recommend something of the...kitchen, or any good wee that he served much less than the offered deciiter. loudy cried to all his favourite guests from German-speaking countries. inappropriate when we ask a small question. he is the opposite of all good manier waitress, on which he treated very inadequately. the guy was disgusting!
Really great lamb. pumpkin soup tasted like a really good Italian pizza, had a kick on it. great presentation of entrees. a unique place with exquisite decor. the personal is friendly. there was a Michelin plate that should be very raped, but was not sure what it was. all the dishes I tasted, I thought was pretty good.
We stayed in hotel matthiol nights, and at filet et fils ate twice for dinner. in consideration of the price of the restaurant dishes in dismatt, filet et fils is a wonderful value that serves fine food in a casual atmosphere, which is passionately in by chefs. what they do. when we first arrived in the hotel, we found chef who made photos of some of his creations, and it is obviously the care and attention to details that go into the gilded meal. in the first night one of us enjoyed calf cuts, cooked exactly right and delicate, and the other had the spa gel and ricota ravioli very large handmade ravioli, which were divine. we had both appetizers a hot smoked salmon trout, the meerrettich foam and lemon cream combination worked perfectly for this dish. also had the Matthiol salad, which also had some fresh mushrooms that made it particularly aromatic. we also ordered sugars and cauliflowers simple, but perfectly prepared, and all this turned out to be too much food with a bottle Swiss wine covered, the evening was a real joy. our second dinner was the saffron tagliatelle pasta (wet serve,) and perch perfectly supposed and moist and much taste. we have saved some space for a chocolate dessert, which we have shared with a great deal. even if they do not stay in matthiol, they will find the time to stroll the hill and enjoy the fine kitchen, relaxed atmosphere and friendly and well-known staff.
The menu is good, the presentation of the food is original and fine, the quality of the ingredients is first-class and the service was fine.
We had two meals here, breakfast and dinner. We were not guests of the hotel, but rather renting a chalet nearby. Both meals surpassed our expectations. Breakfast was delicious, a buffet of lighter items complimented by freshly prepared main course. The food was delicious, perfectly...seasoned. Sizes were perfect considering the fruit, yogurts, meats and cheeses available to supplement. The service was stellar. Breakfast was so good we made dinner reservations that evening. Dinner was not to be missed. We are traveling with two young children, ages and Our children dine our quite often, and are accustomed to nicer restaurants. The menu was fabulous. All the food is local, from the dinner table to the spirits and cocktails. I would not describe the cuisine as Swiss, but it was adventurous, with combinations of meats, fruits, and seasonings I would not have expected. They worked together perfectly; this was not a science experiment. Meats were cooked the perfect amount, despite the creative menu nothing was over sauced or seasoned. Between my wife and I we had two appetizers and two entrees and could not decide what the highlight was. I would also like to call out the attention that was paid to the children's menu. It was four menus, three courses each. It was the first fine restaurant we have visited that the children's menu includes a children's appetizer, catered to their palate. I cannot explain how much freedom this opened up for us as parents to enjoy a full menu without fear of our children growing bored once their main course had arrived and been consumed. The restaurant is not in the heart of town, but it is definitely worth the (short) trip to experience if that is where you are staying. If you, like us, are staying up at the end of Zermatt, you would be seriously remiss if you do not visit.
