Gandegghutte - Zermatt

The beautiful terrace offers a great view of the mountain and glacier world. very nice, local service. the food (ehringerbread with rösti and an apricot cake) was delivered speditiw and was very delicious. we did not inspect the interior of the gandegghütte. the food and the intention are definitely worth the ascent to the hut. the prices are appropriate in consideration of the situation (delivery of food) and the general level in disassembled.

The lookout is great, the service is very friendly and chatting. the cake is self-made and very tasty and also the drinks are good.The small ascent from the dry web is worth it and you can also go well from there to the glacier.

I stayed 1 night, for acclimatization in this cozy hut in the middle of walliser 4’000s like e.g. the broadhorn, matthorn etc. the gornergletscher lies, so it's hardly possible. the hut is led by peter and sarah, a very well-established, helpful, nice and accommodating team.I had the great luck to get one of 3 matthorn shelters, these are tint-tender in the form of a tent. they stand a little off the main hut and are very romantic and cute. that you can enjoy from there is simply stunning. the dinner was a 4-course, which surprised me very well, it tasted very good to me, but was a bit too much for me. the prices are for Swiss ratios in order, especially since one should take into account the transport of food!!! There are 2 normal wc’s, one for women and one for men as well as 2 pissoirs. I have not found a shower, and there is only cold water for teeth cleaning.The cottage inside is very cozy, all made of wood, very nice and homely decorated and decorated. the mass camp also looked very well maintained and clean.I highly recommend the gandegghütte. top.

Very cozy hut above the dry ridge in the midst of a fabulous mountain world. next to the nice service is also the small, fine card with delicious food. very recommended are the Gandegg spaghetti with ham, garlic, fresh tomato and sage! mmmhhhhhh! strengthened one is ready for a sweeping descent to the valley.

For over 20 years we have been in the gandegg hut every year more than 1x. but this time we were more than disappointed! We hardly sat, many tables were issued as reserved, even though there were still enough other tables free. unsree reaction on it was acknowledged with extreme unfriendliness. Pity! one of the waitresses hadn't even in the handle! constantly the same leier, but reserved the shields. also other guests were more than enthusiastic about the new procedere! the staff of the last years was more friendly and without the reservations it was also much more beautiful. the kitchen is still good and the very special wc is still there; it is really a pity that the dusselige reservierei has also kept in there. very much original is lost.
