Hostaria La Romantica - Zweibruecken

We decided to try this Italian restaurant our last night in Zweibrucken. We had read the reviews and felt the positive reviews warranted trying it. Having been to over seventy countries and Italy numerous times I can say that this restaurant far surpassed my expectations. A gratis fruit drink started our evening followed by home made bread to die for. We follwed this with the Mozzarella All' Italina (tomatoes with Mozzarella cheese and oil and vinigar) which rivaled any we have every eaten. We followed this with a Promavera salad and a Funghi pizzza. We were wow'ed by the quality of he food and the service. My wife and I give this a 5 out of 5 rating. The smells of Italy greatly added to the ambiance.

The staff has forgotten several times dishes and spent more than an hour preparing them the only strong point is the taste service: dinner in the type of meal: lunch
