Avaliação da contribuiçãoAs long-term guests of the Weinschänke Rebenhof in Zwingenberg, we have always been satisfied with our visit. But this time we were completely disappointed. First, we had to wait for our food for over a half hours, which is an enormous patience for a family with hungry children. When the food was finally served, it was cold and little appealing. There were also massive problems with the beverage service. We had to wait almost three-quarters for our drinks, which is unacceptable. The staff was overwhelmed and could hardly handle the number of guests. Although the ambience of the vineyard was always quite beautiful, we must seriously consider whether we would ever want to come here again. The prices were extremely overpriced, which is particularly annoying given the disappointing experience. Only the trollbuck we ordered was good. However, this could not save the overall experience. We hope that the vineyard vineyard gets its problems under control and will become the place that we have appreciated and loved for decades.
When Zwingenberger we used to be very often there... Now we rarely come to Zwingenberg, but we wanted to eat the good home cooking from earlier times and were disappointed. Almost everything is just frozen. You can't eat that, I get it in every store... We were really disappointed. It didn’t taste bad, but to offer its guests “Bratkartoffeln” and then to get fried frozen potato slices presented. Also negative: the host was nice to all guests, only not to the staff. We sat close to the kitchen and the tone of handling was anything but respectful. That was really unpleasant to us. The ambience is actually quite cuddly, but the decoration hanging from the ceiling has never been dusted... All in all, therefore, I can only recommend one thing: the beer garden in summer with beer and cooking cheese (tastefully the wine had never much to offer, but that is left to everyone. Good were always mulled wine and spring whites). I like to pay 2€ more for better quality. The food used to be so good... a pity when a shop, which is always full and should afford good quality then, makes cuts in quality but keeps the card.
The restaurant is quite cozy, but the dishes are not really of quality. The scavenger not freshly panned (low chilled goods? and from the fryer, the peasant bread tastes like the net... We liked the friendliness of the young employees, the grumpy boss is not at all. We're not coming back.
There is so good food for good wine in a cosy atmosphere. We always like to come to the gardener with our guests
For many years we have always been happy to go to the Rebenhof. Over the years, both the dishes and the wines have become much better, the prices have naturally also risen. We love the relaxed atmosphere and the fleet and friendly service. Also beautiful: dishes in the season, e.g. Martinsgans in autumn
