When my wife and I arrived, we approached the young lady inside and asked for a table for two. She kindly let us know that is wasn’t a problem, but it would take a while for the food since they had just one cook. No worries we sat down and ordered chicken Pad Thai to share. About 45 minutes later our lives were changed. For 80Baht, the biggest plate of Pad Thai sat before us emitting a beautiful aroma. It was tender, beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. After taking our time to devour this beast, we had the honor of meeting the young lady’s mother who sat at a table resting as the restaurant started to empty for the night. Not only was the food delicious, but every step of the way we felt welcomed and attended to. Thailand can be challenging to find a place that feels authentic and like you aren’t being taken advantage of. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is the place for you.

Meine Frau hatte ein Massaman Curry und ich das stir fried basil chicken jeweils mit einer Portion Reis. Dazu hatten wir noch ein Wasser und ein Bier für insgesamt 240 Baht, sehr günstig. Die Gerichte waren beide mit Liebe gekocht. Hier wurde an nichts gespart. Im Curry waren so viele teure Gewürze zu erkennen Zimtstangen, Sternanis, Gewürznelken Kardamom , da wurde an nichts geparkt. Und die Portionen sind sehr groß. Die nette Dame die uns bediente meinte, dass ihre Schwiegermutter sehr gerne große Portionen koche. Für die meisten sollte für 2 Personen ein Curry mit 2 Portionen Reis genügen. Kurz zusammengefasst. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker, wir wurden sehr herzlich behandelt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Preise sind auch mehr als gut.
