Mohawk Grill - Algonquin Highlands

I couldn't find this burger take-out place when I drove through Dwight this year. Last year I stopped there, and had a great burger and home-made fries. I was disappointed not to be able to stop again.

Best burgers in town, wait and the owner will cook your food fresh for you to enjoy. Enough said. Note; Make sure you speak up - the owner is hard of hearing. Lovely bloke.

We enjoyed our lunch at the Mohawk Grill. The place is not fancy (it's a small shack off highway 60 serving burgers and hot dogs for lunch with picnic tables outside The food is very good, he tries to use mostly local ingredients (his buns come from Henrietta's and his burgers are local) and they are superior to the average fast food restaurant. The owner/cook is very friendly and a pleasure to talk to (he is hard of hearing so speak up) - don't forget to sign his registry book :) We enjoyed our meal and would definitely return when we are in the area.

Waiting for these amazing French fries was totally worth it! We also tried their hotdogs on lightly toasted buns and they were absolutely delicious.

Burger combo, best burger I have had in a long time, fries are excellent. Only had the pleasure of stopping here twice so far, hope to visit again soon.
