Xalos Burrito Express - Anchorage

The tacos vary based upon who's preparing.When they are good they are great.But when not they aren't worth the drive to get them.Amazing flavor to tasting like unflavored boiled meat with rubbery tacos.When getting tacos. Asking for individual tacos they make it into a taco salad then you have to remake the tacos. 4 out of 10 times the tacos are made correctly.

The carne asada fries were really good. They weren't on the menu, but they made them for me when I asked. Instead of regular fries, they used fried potato cubes that were slightly salted. It satisfied my craving since I moved back to Alaska. Would be awesome if they decided to add them to their menu. Nevertheless, their service was excellent.

There's more onions in my burrito than meat. Good flavor but I don't want a $14 onion and rice burrito.

Had the fajita burrito. The service was ok but not especially friendly. I got my burrito very quickly, and it was fresh. It didn't have any seasoning and was very bland. It was also wrapped very loosely and completely fell apart. The fajita veggies were barely cooked and so unpleasant that I had to pick them out. There was hardly any meat in the burrito. You'd think if you order something called a fajita burrito, it would have fajita seasoning and the veggies would already be cooked similarly.

The food was subpar this visit. Chips were ok, some were soggy, others were crunchy. Burritos were good but nothing out of this world. We sat inside the restaurant this time and it was nasty and dirty!!! You can see a layer of dirt on the floor, windows were disgusting and the bathroom could use a deep clean!! The whole place could use a deep clean. I just hope that the food was cooked on a clean surface.
