Avaliação da contribuiçãoGreat service and delicious food. What more can I say? We stopped here while on a roadtrip and accidentally stumbled upon the quaint little area surrounding Urban Beets. Because they had the most vegetarian/vegan options, we decided to explore and were very happy we did. We ordered the Buffalo seitan, the pesto pasta, and the grinder, all of which hit the spot.
I really like this place but unfortunately they rarely answer their phones to take orders and are frequently closed during posted business hours. The simple solution would be to post a sign on the door as to why they're closed. Is it staffing? Are the hours that are posted wrong? Are you going out of business? Salmonella outbreak? Who knows
Wonderful food, wonderful staff. Always going above and beyond. Whenever one of the owners is in, he has shown some of the new things he's working on and has let us try out new things that aren't quite on the menu yet. Always had a great experience here.
The food and service is terrific, had that great friendly vibe like when you visit old friends. You could tell that the chef really loves what he does. Definitely get the nachos and if available ask for the chocolate chip and nuts cookie! It comes with the best whiskey peach drizzle. Warm and gooey, perfect end to a meal! Thanks for having us!
There are 2 restaurants that market themselves as vegan in Olde Town Arvada so after going to So Radish, I figured I should check out Urban Beets as well. I've now been to Urban Beets twice and while it is good, I wouldn't say it knocked my socks off. I think you're more so paying for the experience and the opportunity to sit on their lovely patio in Olde Town. The first time I got their Italian Grinder sandwich with chips. It was good but at $13, again, not particularly phenomenal. I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting but I was hoping for something a little above and beyond the style of the deli meat I could pick up in a grocery store. The next time I split the BBQ Jackfruit Nachos with a friend. It's certainly a very large portion of an opener so can be enjoyed by 2 or more people and perfectly fill you up. Again, I thought it was solid. I don't know what was going on but it took forever for it to come out that night and at least the server was self-aware of that and gave us a discount on the meal so I appreciate that level of customer service. Each time I've been there someone has been playing music on the patio. For the average restaurant-goer, this is either endearing or completely annoying. So just be aware of that if you are coming here that it could become a part of your dining experience as this location's patio appears to be the hub of where music is played in Olde Town. Ultimately, I think Urban Beets is more about its patio and its environment than its food. I love vegan restaurants but I found nothing here to be particularly special on the menu or making me yearning to return at its price point.
