Ro's Grille - Athens

My family loves to eat at ro’s! I had several different escapes there and was never disappointed. they are all delicious! at the moment the jack jack burger is my favorite, but I had the grilled huh, steak, ro’s bowl, the cash and grilled chicken salad, and it’s always good. ro has something for everyone. eat them local.

I have passed this restaurant 100 times but didn't try it because of the outside look. There are always tons of cars there for lunch. We took a chance and the inside was very clean and a wonderful selection. We had the Caribbean Chicken and Grilled Shrimp. Best food in Athens!! Flavorful, well prepared and plated and a super value. We went at dinner on a week night so it wasn't as crowded. Sorry we did not try Ro's sooner!

Went for lunch, and they have a menu which includes a drink. That 's nice. I ordered a salad, and asked for light cucumbers and no croutons. I got no cucumbers and extra croutons. The portion was small for the price. She did offer to make it over, but I told her I 'd just pick them off. I realized it didn 't come with the bacon that was listed in the menu, so I asked. Server told me that it was a typo in the menu, but she 'd bring some anyway no extra cost. I mean, I hope so since it was listed that way in a laminated menu. If it 's a typo, mark it out with a sharpie. My companion ordered hush puppies but didn 't the stuffed ones he was supposed to get. His chicken sandwich was HUGE and her really enjoyed it. I would give the place another try since my companion likes it, but I was really disappointed.

Great service, great food, and great value. .Will definitely come back. Fried cheesecake. was delish!

Definitely a must try place. On way back to Ohio from Florida and decided to stop for the night. Wanted to try local and got lucky finding this gem of a place. Had a great server named Brooke. Seriously this place is amazing. So glad we picked it. Hopefully everyone will enjoy it as much as we did.
