Avaliação da contribuiçãoI’d love nothing more than a good Chinese restaurant in the area. I know they’ve been there for years…and it shows.. Upon entering the smell of mould was nauseating. The place was beyond filthy. I tried to stay positive assuming the kitchen was spotless and the food was good. It was all I could do to try it after the experience picking it up. But nothing changed. The food was awful. Save your money.
Since we love Chinese food and the Pine Yard is the only Chinese food place in town we reluctantly order from there once every six months and they never fail too disappoint. Last night the ribs were 90 per cent fat and the pork fried rice had no taste at all as if a piece of pork had just been waved over it. The chow mien was the best thing we got which tells you something. Though chicken balls are our favourite Chinese food we'd given up the Pine Yard's long ago. The price should have been $5 instead of $35 .... wait, they should have paid us $5.
You cannot find a more filling and fresh meal than their lunch special's or combos. I get the beef broccoli lunch (comes with rice egg roll) at least once a week when I am at work and even with a drink it is less than $10. The food is always fresh and hot and is ready SOOO quickly plus the portion is huge for one person! The staff are great at making changes or substitutions when required and I have never had any issues. Yes the building isn't pretty but the food is great!
Our family ordered dinner for 6. We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Nothing to complain about here. All the dishes were very good and lots of left overs to boot.
Went in for Chinese food. We were the only people in the restaurant. Server brought the wrong beer but it hadn't been opened so she returned with the right brand. Loved our noodles and won ton soup!
