La Masala Cafe - Barcelona

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and absolutely adored it. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious - the tomatoes were especially tasty and the avocado was so creamy. The lady serving me had a fantastic attitude towards customers. Thank you for helping me start my trip off on such a positive note.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. The Barista's dedication to making the perfect coffee was evident. Despite being only two people serving and preparing meals, they gave 100% effort and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this spot.

This restaurant is an incredible and lovely place to take a coffee break in the city. The brioche with Brie was absolutely delicious, words cannot describe how amazing it was. And the coffee from Tusell Tostadores, oh my goodness!! Thank you for the great service and the careful attention to every detail. I highly recommend this place!!

The Masala has become my refuge since 2018. I go when I am very happy or very sad because both the deal of the owners and the coffee and the pastry is excellent and always puts me in a good mood. The deal is unbeatable, they make you feel like you're home and they're always very kind. Regarding coffee, it is undoubtedly the best in Barcelona and with a lot of difference (truco: try it with oatmeal milk). Then they offer vegan options and that is always appreciated. For vegan people like me there are porridge, vegan bagel, and they always have at our disposal or biscuit or vegan muffins. They usually say that the price is expensive, but I honestly think it's a super fair price for some products and a service of such good quality. We are accustomed to the very low prices of coffee chains that are worth nothing, and the Masala is worth it and we should know how to value it properly. It's all delicious and it's the best place to go for a good coffee and try the rich things they have to eat. The Masala is a MUST.
