Quiet oasis, with outside tables shaded under chestnut trees in the market place. Good fresh food and nice relaxed service....even a home made creme de mente to finish. Worth a stop
We wandered into Barsac to find a place for lunch and this little restaurant was the first place we came to in the main square, a few people were having lunch around us and we were pretty late. The waiter welcomed us and said we could have lunch though some things were off the menu. We ordered 2 steaks, a pizza and a salad between the 4 of us we had beers and wine. The steaks were average but not bad, the pizza was good and the salad large and satisfying though a bit plain. The waiter seemed to be the barman and the cook too so overall he did a remarkably good job! The pace was slow which suited us fine and the bill was reasonable we'd be happy to go there again but this is a small every café rather than a place for gourmet food.
L'accueil de Chris a été très bon, c'est une dame dynamique qui aime son métier. Elle nous a fait découvrir la Pinsa du Sud-Ouest à base de gésiers et de foie gras, un plat délicieux et très copieux. Merci à elle !
It's okay to stop by here for a quick bite. The inside looks like a pizza place/bar and the food was okay. The drinks/wine is expensive for the quality of wine received. Wouldn't go back unless everything else was closed...and on this day, everything else was closed at the time.
