Queens Palace - Basildon

The food at this restaurant is amazing, particularly the pancake roll which is a satisfying and delicious meal. The king prawns are outstanding and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

It is difficult to be honest without coming across as mean or petty, but I chose to order from this takeaway based on reviews. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The special fried rice was bland, tasteless, and poorly made. It lacked proper frying and seasoning, making it the worst I have ever had. The curry sauce was extremely oily and had an unpleasant taste. I did not try the chow mein dish, but it seemed to have had similar issues. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It was strange to visit a Chinese restaurant that did not offer any type of chips.

The takeout from this restaurant is excellent, but it is unfortunate that they do not accept card payments in this day and age. It seems like a legal requirement due to COVID-19 regulations.

I Had a takeaway from this Chinese takeaway last night and it was appalling. Meat was seriously fatty, curry was a congealed lump, rice was overdone as if previously cooked. It has been a long time since I used this takeaway and it use to be nice but yesterday's meal has got to be the worst I have had from a takeaway. Myself and my family was very disappointed.

Had a lovely takeaway from them for the first time and the food was great . And the staff are nice to highly recommend them
