Old Town Restaurant & Bar - Bastrop

The restaurant offers the NFL package and is the only place in the city that does so. The buffalo chicken sandwich was made with a real chicken breast, not pressed chicken, and came served on a delicious bun with Provolone cheese, salad, tomato, and mayo. The fries were crispy. The fish tacos were exceptional, as was the fish in general. Our server, Amber, was fantastic. We come back every Sunday to watch the Green Bay Packers play.

The service at this restaurant is excellent - quick, friendly, and attentive. The food is also delicious, with the fries being a standout dish that could easily be considered the best in the world.

This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy a few beers and watch some football. You might even have the chance to meet some locals. The burgers are delicious.

We had made a reservation that was not honored at this restaurant. They claimed they do not take reservations and blamed us for the mistake. However, this was proven wrong when we received a confirmation from OpenTable. The restaurant may need to update their online system. Fortunately, we were able to find another restaurant, ROADHOUSE in PAIGE, TX, who was more than happy to accommodate us and we had a great time watching the football game with our friends from Houston.
