Whoa, wow yummy! Whola smack I am going to run outta words to describe how good the food is!! If like me taking a tour along the back roads is a Sunday thing or a foodie come here!!The people are amazing and it is a throwback to home cooking & pride in quality. Look them up on Facebook as they post their upcoming specials too. Plus they have a smoker, mmmm. Definitely coming back :)

I visited this restaurant some time ago, and we were not as impressed as before. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy this place, and it's still a 4-star in my opinion. I have never had a bad meal here.

Food was good but three of the items listed on the blackboard were not available. Don't go to this restaurant expecting atmosphere as there is none. I felt like I was dining in someone's back kitchen. Freezers line the walls of the dining area and hum so loud it's to the point of being annoying. The room is filled with too much kitsch to the point where it's clutter. One washroom door lock doesn't work at and be careful of the other as you might get locked in the lavatory. Tables are covered in plastic tablecloths and ours had not been wiped down from previous diners. Not sure I'll be back.

We stopped in at Comfort & Soul after a long day at the beach. What a perfect place for a delicious dinner. As soon as you walk in you know this place is all about good home cooking. I had the pulled pork with the comfort sauce, with fried corn and biscuits. The sauce on the pulled pork was sweet and tangy but did not over power the amazing pulled pork. The biscuits were hot, fluffy and a perfect addition to the meal. My husband had the chicken and dumplings and my daughter had French toast made with lemon bread. The French toast was incredible as the bread had lots to f lemony bits and it just melted in your mouth. Every meal was delicious and satisfying. The portions are large - so bring your appetite, because it's so yummy you'll want to clean your plate. We brought home the peanut butter pie for desert. Thank you Comfort & Soul for such a yummy meal - we cannot wait to return!

Excellent breakfast. Definite comfort food. Good quality food, biscuits are delicious. We will be back for sure!
