Always great! 8 of us and everyone enjoyed their food as always. Friendly and laid back just a great place to come and feel at home and relaxed.

The staff were excellent as usual. My sister and I had the rib fillet. Over cooked and a bit grisly both of ours and the chips were very highly salted. I say that, because I don't mind a bit of chip with my salt but too much. Good flavour though. I didn't want to put a downer on the lovely family celebration so kept quiet

It was a disappointing meal. The steak was chewy and under done. I don’t know how anyone could make mash potatoes taste so bad. It was caramel coloured and disgusting. The gravy was lumpy and transparent like jelly and the bearnaise straight from the carton tasted like curry. It used to be consistently good food I’m not sure what has changed but it’s not good. Having made the booking in the afternoon for Mother’s Day on the day, I thought we were lucky to get in but now I understand why they still had vacant tables.
