Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis place is fantastic. First, the food is delicious. Second, the place itself is amazing. Third, the people who works there is very nice. Its a perfect place to go with friends or family. It seems a medieval tavern. The dish is not a round dish object, but a rectangular wooden board. Comturei is a quite interesting experience.
On Monday we stopped in Comturei for a lunch menu. Very good price, amazing food, nice atmosphere. We were very happy with our choice - main meal for about 8 euros.
Went with a group of friends and decided to have the special of the house! The whole set up was an experience on its own and when the food arrived, it was lit! While we could have used more meat, the overall experience meant it's one to repeat!
It is presented as historical resturant, but it is more like a cafe. Starter was poor, but main course was ok. Both my fish and my friends steak was made good, but not more. The small salad served with the fish was dried out and contained sand and roots.Surroundings are plain. We both experienced some respiratory irritations while eating. Which was stange, bot probably related to the moisty air down in the "dungeon". Compared to the quality, the prices are too high.
We visited this restaurant 2 years ago and despite a few seats left they managed to fit us in. This time to make sure we made a reservation the day before. The chef spoke very good English and was very accommodating with a couple of members of our party who are coeliac's in ensuring that that the requirements would be met. The food was served on a spit with a separate salad bowl, bread and the spit was surrounded with fruit, cheese and vegetables. We received three spits of food and for the Coeliac's, they each had a separate dish of 3 types of fish. At €15 each the value was superb. English is also spoken and the staff were all very helpful. Definitely worth a visit but do make sure to reserve a table particularly if you plan to visit over the weekend.
