Avaliação da contribuiçãoOwner Dominique Hand renovated a beautiful room and manager Danieli just staffed kitchen with chef from Sicily, this is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant. During the summer Dominique brought fresh herbs and vegetables from his Brooklyn garden for the salads. The pasta is made in house. We enjoyed live guitar on Thursday evening. The bar is regularly crowded with regulars including actors, writers, journalists, musicians, FBI agents and foodies. A colorful, diverse Brooklyn crowd with great food in a comfortable room large enough for groups, private conversation, couples and children.Vegetarian options: Both Eggplant parm and eggplant tower excellent. Many pastas including pesto and norma available.Kid-friendliness: Many families enjoy dinner here.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on street level with open floor plan.
The restaurant was excellent. Our server (Ami was knowledgable, honest, and understood what we needed as a group. Every single dish was delicious (the Caesar salad and branzino fillet stand out in my mind. Will definitely be returning.
The burrata was so so. The drinks are ok, my dates margarita was way too salty. I even tried it and how could anyone bare the taste. The Gnocchi was flavorful but i have had way better as far as consistency and portion.
Lovely local spot, with a warm environment, great service, and delicious food. Wood fired pizza was excellent, although the crust could have been thinner. Also, solid and reasonably priced wine list.
On the last warm night of the Season, we dined outside in an area with a roof that closes the rest of the year — a lovely quiet terrace. All of the food was delicious — the pizza with fiori di latte (sp? , the fennel orange olive and pistachio and Caesar salads, the tuna and chicken picatta, and the tiaramisu. Very cordial service.
