Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is a great local restaurant. Great views, great food with generous portions. It is quite quirky with mismatched tables and chairs and a few different rooms to be seated in. Great tasting food and service was friendly, quick and efficient.
Erawan is upstairs in a building near the Buderim shopping precinct on the Buderim Road. It overlooks a view of the Sunshine Coastal hinterland. The food is a delightful range of above average Malaysian and popular dishes from other parts of Asia. We didn't note any surprises. The service is very good - the tables each have their own buzzer to summon the wait staff. It's BYO and licensed. They're happy to split bills for a large group. It has a well deserved place as a good local restaurant.
Surprising, given the good reviews! Food was lacking in genuine flavour - the sizzling mongolian had more of a plum flavour, and the singapore noodles hadn't had the curry cooked through (resulting in a 'crumbly' texture). We eat at a lot of good restaurants, so that too could be hampering our review a little. All in all, the food was OK but there are a lot better options on the coast for a $75 dinner meal for two people. Service decent.
The meals shared by our group of friends were very good. the service was prompt by not obtrusive. We had a very pleasant experience
We absolutely loved it, we where recommended this restaurant by JAz and Rick from Samara Rainforest Retreat who said they had been going to the restaurant for years. They where spot on, the food was amazing and we had a great night. We will be back.
