The food, which is simply cooked Buddhist cuisine, is incredibly fresh and served in a beautiful traditional style paper-screen private room. The prices are very reasonable, and the dishes are clean and delicious. The restaurant is run by a delightful lady with a warm smile, who kindly gave us tea and incense as gifts, even though there was a language barrier between us.
This restaurant is located in a surprising alley behind a hotel in Changsha. They serve incredibly fresh and simply cooked Buddhist cuisine in a beautiful private room with traditional paper screens. The food is clean, delicious, and reasonably priced. The service is led by a lovely lady with a big smile, who even gave us gifts of tea and incense, despite the language barrier. She didn't speak English and we didn't speak Chinese, but we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our meal.
I had a meal with soup and two main dishes for 68¥ at this restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, and the atmosphere felt upscale yet cozy. The staff were also very friendly.
