Avaliação da contribuiçãoHave come as part of a group several times after a nearby hike such as the Monticello Trail. It's always been a good option provided it's not full to capacity. It's a real plus that they are okay with bringing outside food in to enjoy with their selection of wine. Glad this place is nearby and is such an enjoyable, convenient, and scenic choice.
It's a not to be missed vineyard beautiful settings, fabulous wines, friendly staff stop at Simeon Market and grab a sandwich on your way up. This is a must every time we go.
I really wanted to give it a 2.5 but not an option. So 3 and mainly because of the view and some of the wines are decent. We are currently here at the vineyard and although a little busy the gentleman that was helping us verbatim said I’m going to need you to decide soon as we are busy. There was no line behind us. He did say that we could mix and match some of the wine so we we’re looking at all options available. As soon as he said this it became very off putting and like we were wasting his time. I get its a Saturday and nice weather but there was no line behind us and one other couple next to us.As an employee or customer in any industry, you don’t know who you are talking too or who you are interacting with.
Beautiful winery with a tasty selection. I did the red wine flight and enjoyed the Merlot and Cab Franc.Plenty of seating inside and out. I especially like the spots on the raised deck just outside the main building, but those seats get taken fast!Staff is friendly and eager to educate guests on the wines.
While the wine was very good and the setting is very pleasant I cannot give them a 5 star. When we went to buy the four varietals that we liked Chardonnay Reserve, Voignier, Meritage and Tannat) shame on us for not double checking what they packaged. After driving nearly 200 miles to get home we unpacked the wine only to find out they gave us two Chardonnay Reserve and two Meritage. We were really looking forward to enjoying the Voignier and the Tannat. Please Read this follow up: when we contacted the winery directly by email with the receipt of what was paid for and photos of what was packed they immediately offered to correct the mistake at their expense. The wine arrived safely today. Thank you Jefferson Winery and your staff.
