Rocks Lakeview - Chicago

I've been here several times before hanging out with friends and was back for a Supper Club event hosted by ROCKS recently. Food and service are always amazing. Love the overall ambience. If you're in the neighborhood and haven't been, stop in and check it out!

First time and next time we go we'll order for take out. Service was horrible. Waited t I be placed at a table and then when at a table had to flag down the manager to wipe the table down (all over 30-minutes). The manager stated that he had sent a server over to wipe the table but he saw that it had never been done. Once we were seated at the table, it took another 15-minutes before a server saw us to take our order. We ordered food, right away, as we didn't know how long it would take for food to be delivered to the table. Server never asked if we wanted drinks, when the food was brought to the table. we state to our server that we wanted drinks, she took our drink order and brought those fairly quickly. Food was good, but lack of attention to detail/service really left a bad experience.

Stopped in here after a 13 hour drive from New Jersey to Chicago with my fiancé and man did this place hit the damn spot. I got an Allagash and my fiancé got an old fashioned, which was perfectly made. For food we got the Mac and cheese bites and we just wanted more and more of those. I got the chimichurri salad, which quite possibly could my one of my favorite salads, and he got the 2x4 burger, another good option. If we ever go back to Chicago, we would come back here.

Chicken wings were very yummy but the sandwich was not to our liking. We have had better in the restaurant but as a pickup order it did not meet our expectations.

Food was good, but items were missed on the order. Super slow service. It took about two hours for our party of 5 to order, eat, and pay.
